π³Fee
Octopus fee structure consists of two parts: bridge fees and targeted destination TX Costs. Bridge fees are the fees paid by users to the platform and market makers, charged as a percentage of the transfer amount. Destination TX Costs are the fees paid by users in advance to market makers to cover the GAS fees for network transmission to the destination. This fee structure ensures fast and reliable asset transfer and protects the interests of market makers.
For example, when you transfer 1 ETH from Arbitrum to Binance Smart Chain, the bridge fee is 0.01% of the transfer amount, and the destination TX Cost is 0.0014 ETH. The transfer cost is:
0.01% * 1 ETH + 0.0014 ETH = 0.0115 ETH The fee structure for alpha 1 testnet will be applied in this way. On the mainnet, different fee percentages will be applied for amounts in different ranges. Distribution of FEE Revenues 15% Bridge Maintenance
